The Sacred Valley is a fertile land  where we have different local villages and one of them is the village of Pisac which is one of the largest Andean textile market in the region of Cusco and the archeological ruins of Pisac that are considered one of the finest remaining Inca archeological sites in the country. And you can see one of the largest Inca cemeteries with more than 2500 tombs and admire the incredible farming terraces carved into the mountain. At the colorful Andean market in Pisac. You will be able to appreciate a mixture of colors of the Inca Culture, Spanish Culture and Tradition.

Itinerary

PISAC – OLLANTAYTAMBO – CHINCHERO

We will pick you up at your hotel at 8am, then we head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, taking the direct route to Pisac.we stop at the look out of Taray to have a classic view of the Urubamba valley with corn fields dressing the mountains like a carpet. Onward, we drive to the archaeological site of Pisac, where you can see the largest Inca cemetery with more than 2000 tombs. There we can admire the incredible farming terraces constructed into the mountain, explore the Inca tunnel and the religious area of this important citadel. Here we will spend more than 2 hours, exploring the Inca city.

Then we head back to the colorful market of Pisac, spend some time visiting it and then drive to Urumbamba for lunch, we go to Ollantaytambo the next Inka site on the sacred valley.  We explore the archeological site for 1.5 hours and admire the water fountains, the Sun Temple, the impressive store houses. Then we go to Chincheros to explore the colonial Church of Chincheros and see the Inka city too finally we go back to Cusco around 7pm after our amazing time on the sacred valley.
